Rallies & Promises; What is solved?

Well the infamous 8/28 rally was held and I believe it was a very positive step and maybe a way for many to recharge their exhausted batteries. Now that is all well and good but did attendee's come away with sollutions and idea's for what this once great country now faces? I have not heard of any as of yet, if they have surfaced. Mr. Beck is clearly our modern day Whitfield, but who is our modern day G. Washington? The fields have been plowed and planted, but who will harvest the bounty from this fertile ground? How many fields do we need before we harvest? It seems as though no one has the answers as to the many questions that face us.

Voting or Brute Force?

Well, here I set watching the news like many of you and scratch my head at what I see. A Mosque at "Ground Zero" and we as Americans are supposed to be ok with that? That's like have a sequel to a movie and the main character from the first movie is not the same actor in the second. It's like Hollywood thinks we won't notice or something. They share some facial attributes, hair color, size and maybe they sound the same, but they are clearly two different people. Washington is trying to avoid the sequel to "The Great Depression" but we can tell it's the same story. OK, maybe different actors; the clothes are different; the times are different, but it's the same movie. It's the reverse of the scenario I mentioned earlier. It's like recording a song that was recorded 25 years ago and changing the tempo and even maybe the genre. However; you know, "Hey, that's that old tune so-in-so sang when we were kids". That is exactly what America faces right now. It is the repeat of the Depression of the 1930's that was extended and worsened by President Roosevelt. Except today instead of being in debt millions, it is trillions! I heard an example from a prominent Pastor put like this: If you opened a business the day Jesus Christ was born and that business lost 1 million dollars everyday up to the present, you would need to add 700 years all the while losing 1 million dollars daily, that would add up to 1, yes 1 (one) trillion dollars. If I am not mistaken we are now in debt 14 trillion dollars. Madness!! With all that stated, will this fall's elections bring about the tools & ideas we will need as a country to get a handle on out of control spending and reasserting Americas place in the world? Will Washington "get it"? With all the issues facing America today and tomorrow our elected government has repeatedly went against the American peoples will. Is voting what they respect? Is term limits the key to restraining Senators from amassing too much power? In Americas past more than not, people in power or people with connections above the common man, the one and only thing that they all have responded to and understood is "Brute Force". I am not a "Founding Father", a General of the Army, a Senator or anyone that has ever been someone that should be in a place of power, but should more of the everyday common man or woman be the ones in power. To this point, people of the upper class, or the privileged elite have not exactly done a "bang-up job". I believe I am like many of you and would like to round them all up and put them all in a military tribunal, convict them of crimes against America, and sentence them to either Life in Prison or the Death Penalty. When I say, "round them all up" that means all leftist, Democrats, bleeding hearts, and either send them to the country of their choice or make this the last generation they corrupt. I like many of you believe in education, expanding you mind, new experiences, leaving a better country to the generation after me. I used to believe this country was in the mantra of "The needs of the many, outweigh the few, or the one. Not the other way around! Democrats, ultra leftist, bleeding hearts, believe exactly the opposite. Everyone has to conform to each little group, anyone different we have bow before them, the many have to walk on "eggshells" around the "few" or the "one". What's wrong with that? The list is too many and too long. There is a lot to be said about the beliefs of the Founding Fathers and traditions. If we were still following those beliefs and standards set out for us, maybe we would not be where we are today. Maybe Brute Force has been underrated? What do you think?

New Candidates same ole' results?

At this point in American politics we are faced with the incumbents or something new. Is it a new candidate with real ideas, viewpoints, ready to work attitude, real change; or is it the same ole' same ole'? I know with the emergence of the Tea Party and the different factions it has spawned we hear of new candidates and real change. Is it real change? Real change like now President Obama promised in his 2008 campaign? In many ways our country has reverted back to a system of government that our ancestors left England & Europe to escape. What system you ask? The Feudal system. The Feudal system of government consists of Lords and Vassals or Serfs. To break that down simply is the haves and the have nots'. Our country has reverted back to a time where we have a class of society what is called Aristocrats i.e.; Senators, Representatives, both at the Federal level and State level. The Middle Class or "town folk" that bares the cost or brunt of keeping the aristocrats living a lifestyle that they are accustom to. Then you have the poor, in which they do not contribute to society either by paying taxes or living on government provided welfare, which is of course right where the aristocracy wants them. Using England as an example, you had the King or Queen which oversaw all the Dukes, Lords, Counts, Knights, which in turn they oversaw the people that lived in small villages on the "Nobles" land and payed tribute or taxes to the Dukes and Lords for their abundant grace. Then their was the poor such as the Scottish or Irish people who merely existed to provide for their Nobles. If you ever notice when a Senator or Congressman is speaking at a press conference about a upcoming bill or an issue that resonates with the country they never speak of their own personal experience or that of their own families. They always read a letter or speak of a conversation from the campaign trail that they found to be so moving, so inspiring and now they've decided to champion this current cause. Do you know why they always speak of a letter from someone or a story from stranger met on the campaign trail? It is because they are wealthy, always have been and will continue to be. They are not faced with the trials that everyday Americans are faced with, such as health care because they have money. Money that enables them to pursue whatever form of treatment is needed. They do not know true hardship so they are faced to rely on us for a grasp of reality. By the people, For the people, Of the people is no longer true. Our representatives are no longer from us, the rank and file people of everyday life. They have been elevated to the status of Dukes and Lords and we are the Vassal's. We've set back and allowed them to vote pay raises, free trips, $3o,000 dollar a plate fundraisers. Does that sound like anyone you know? When has a Senator or Congressman ate "brown beans & cornbread" because that's all they had and not at a restaurant along the way on the campaign trail. So will electing people with new names and professing new viewpoints really be any different? When the current government passes bills into law that only 30%-40% of the people favor and reject the will of the American people at every turn, how do we stop them? Barack Obama was a different candidate. He is a African-American, young, a father, has not spent 40 years in elected office, professed change that you can believe in. What has that got us? More of the same. Disappointment and distrust and more importantly on the verge of Social and Economic Collapse. At the Town Hall meetings people voiced their opposition to the issues. Did it change their vote? NO! Regardless of America's collective view they vote against us at every turn. They believe thru their privileged upbringing, private schools, ivy league college, world travels, that they have been enlightened and it is their duty to save us from ourselves. When did we decide as a people, as a nation that people of privilege should decide what's best for us? I don't remember giving them that ability. Though I may not be rich, not well versed in multiple languages, traveled the world, educated at Harvard, I believe that I am capable of determining my own destiny, my own fate. The only thing people like this understand is brute force, naked aggression. That is what it took to open up the eyes of England's Royalty. Maybe you've heard of it, the Revolutionary War? Say we vote in these "new" candidates and it turns out they are the same. What will we do then? Amidst economic collapse, will new name candidates seem appealing? I think not. I'm not saying violence is the answer, but what is it going to take? I am at a loss as to what it is, except total revolution. I wonder if demanding the resignation of every member of "The White House", staff and the current President, every Senator, every Representative, and repealing such laws as Health Care, Finance Reform, etc. would bring about real change in our new government and stabilizing our Republic to insure people such as these are not so easily returned. I don't have all the answers let alone any single answer, but I do know something has to give or the "straw" will break the "camel's back". Maybe the time for talking is over. How good has talking been in deterring Iran from seeking nuclear weapons. How good was talking to Nazi's in ending WW II? Talking has it's time, however force has it's time as well. However I am in no way the person to decide that. I don't know if anyone really ever is. Basically we have to do something now to fix, no no... save this country or there will not be one left to save, I fear.

On Edge?

As I watch the news (and no not just Fox News), I can see or better yet, sense an edge on the everyday people when interviewed. It is as if everyone knows the country is in real trouble and that the potential for economic and social collapse is a real possibility. I mean not since the Civil War has there been such a threat that looms over our nation such as this. Since September 11, 2001 we have went from the worst attack on U.S. soil, to unity to electing a President of the United States with the middle name Hussein. Hijackers on the planes of 9/11 had that name; and now they want to build a Mosque on "Ground Zero"? Is everyone insane? I agree with the comic Dennis Miller when he stated on Bill Orelie's "The Factor" that America will be brought down by the amoeba of Political Correctness. A nation as great as ours falls to bleeding hearts. It is time to take a stand or we will quite possibly pass thru the annals of time as the fallen republic that was once America. I'm here to tell you the threat is real. There are people in our government that want nothing more than to see the fall of America, including our President. There appointed Czars and advisers in our current administration that would be arrested for a lot less of their policy's and view points. Why do so many turn a blind eye to it? Is is the mentality why worry about today what you can put off tomorrow? Folks if we don't get real leaders in our government, people who will fight for change and deliver, than maybe thru natural selection just as in nature we will be selected for extinction. The rule is; "Only the strong survive". Are we the strong, the lion or are we the wildebeest, the prey? You know on your computer or such devices their is a reset button so that if the system is corrupt you can simply shut it down and start over. Maybe we need to find our reset button and take our country back. Back a few years morally! Back when small communities banded together. When the focus of our lives centered around our neighbors and family. The country store not Wal-Mart was the focus of the community. You would see your family and neighbors at your local community church and Sundays was a day of rest, respecting God's rules not mans. A time when your neighbor needed help and you helped them. Not for "what a good boy am I", but because it was the right thing to do and down the road if you ever needed help they were there for you in return. A much simpler time, a much easier time. I don't have all the answers but I can see when something is broken. So instead of pretending everything is ok, let's stand together as neighbors, as Missourians, as Virginians, as Mainer's, as Californians as one country; America and work together to set our country back on the right path the founding fathers intended, as God intended.

The Bubba Effect?

I have recently viewed an episode of Glenn Beck titled "The War Room". This episode basically was putting forth idea's or worst-case scenarios of the future of America. In this they state a possible scenario called the "The Bubba Effect", in which residents of rural America basically horde supplies such as canned food, ammunition, weapons and money and/or some form of tradeable goods. What I am able to determine from this idea is that the metropolitan areas, i.e. "big cities", such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, etc., will be in total chaos, which in affect will bring about "Marshall Law". This theory states that people will be forced out of the cities into rural areas due to rioting, gang violence, civil unrest and looting. This means that to all fellow "country" residents, we will be in a sense overrun by our own countrymen, refugee's. If this theory becomes reality we will be forced to protect our property, and maybe even protect it with deadly force. You have to look at or break down the mindset of someone, male or female; who lives in the city or a suburb to someone who lives in a rural or country area. People who live in the city are used to having things "there". What I mean by there is this: water, trash pick-up, utilities such as electricity, basically everything is at their fingertips. As you know and anyone knows that lives in the country we do not think that way. When a thunderstorm knocks out the power, we simply light the kerosene lanterns and wait until the power comes back on, if it does or doesn't we manage. Most of us have ancestors that have lived in conditions that were a lot less comfortable than we have today. With having these relatives means stories, traditions, ways of life that have been handed down to us thru the years that we carry on today. Were not naturalist like "hippie's" that believe by living in a tee-pee they are getting back to nature. All we have to do is hearken back the stories of old and conduct ourselves as did our grandparents before us. Neighbor's helping each other, becoming a community again instead of a central urban center that we all congregate to. The little communities that merely have a sign as you pass by, stating only by the name that at one time this was a thriving community that came together in times of trouble, not only relying each other but relying on our self. Not looking to the government for a handout.
So in closing, remember the old stories your grandparents told you, put some of these practices once part of history, back into practice. Not just practice, but a way of life. You'll be glad you did!

Rifles; Protection & Protein

Beginning with my last post we will discuss the firearm known as the "Rifle". Their are many types, calibers and price ranges for one to consider when purchasing a new or used rifle. To start we will go over styles or designs of today's common rifle.
The standard American rifle is commonly referred to as the "Bolt Action". The bolt action rifle cycles as you pull the "bolt" rearward and the bolt itself ejects the spent cartridge, then as you push the bolt forward and the bolt grabs a second cartridge and pushes it forward into the breach loading the rifle for the second shot. Their are a few basic types of bolt action rifles you can choose from. Their is the Remington 700 series, which is probably the most used for custom rifles for it's simplicity. Next is the famous Mauser developed by Paul Mauser for Germany for use in the military. It is known as the tank of the bolt action design. Those who are looking for a heavy, well built rifle the Mauser may be for you. Next is the Sako design which is a combination more or less of the two actions. The simpleness of the Remington with some of the heft of the Mauser. Two more major manufacturers of the bolt action rifles are Winchester and Ruger. Both use the Mauser as their base for the rifles they build. Both offer high quality rifles in many styles and varieties.
Their is a classic American design known as the "Lever Action". Also known as the "Cowboy" gun they offer versatility and a very reliable action. However there is one drawback to the lever action as opposed to the bolt action; distance. The bolt action will always perform at longer distances than the lever action. So this is a factor to consider when purchasing your new rifle. The caliber of the rifle should give one pause; for this is the single most important factor of your new rifle.
I will continue this discussion on my next post.

Protection & Survival

This post is an attempt to maybe shed some light on ways you might consider to provide food on your table or the ability to protect yourself and your family. Now I will mention calibers and models of certain types of firearms but will in no way endorse or promote any brand names. That is solely up to the person or persons that are qualified and deemed legally responsible to own and operate a firearm. Also remember to read and follow all safety recommendations suggested by the firearm manufacturer.
Now that above stated (not to say I am bound by legal matters, I believe in following all safety steps when using a firearm for any reason), let us move on .
I would suggest to properly protect yourself or family that one should actually take out a piece of paper and pen and write down what you are looking for in a firearm, your needs from that firearm, what & how you expect that firearm to perform, and determine what factors such as price, affordability, durability, resale value, and longevity.
Their are many firearms on the market today that have the cutting edge and state of the art manufacturing procedures that will give you the consumer the ability to find and purchase a quality firearm. Now if you are looking for a handgun one should look at the size of caliber you may or may not want. The larger the number the more recoil you will feel. Smaller the number you will experience lighter recoil. For instance 9mm vs. a .45 ACP, the 9mm will provide less recoil and give the user greater control of the firearm and may provide better accuracy. However the .45 ACP will provide better stopping power, but will garner more recoil. Also smaller calibers will allow you to carry more ammunition than larger calibers. Semi-automatic pistols allow the user the ability to simply cock the gun once buy pulling the upper part of the firearm known as the slide, and then simply pull the trigger repeatedly until the magazine is spent. If one chooses a revolver they are generally easier to use for the layman. Simply put you pull the hammer backward and pull the trigger. There are no safeties to impede usage. Once loaded however, a revolver is potentially dangerous at all times, so one should remember safety at all times. Popular calibers for semi-auto's currently are as stated, the .380, 9mm or known as 9x19mm, the .45 ACP, and the tried and true .22 caliber. Popular styles of handguns that one may see while in the market are as follows, the Beretta 92 which is duplicated at a cheaper price by Taurus, and is the official sidearm of the U.S. military, the famous 1911 by John M. Browning which are made my numerous manufactures. There also are a style of pistol that has become very popular, the Glock. There are several manufactures that make various styles of this type pistol and several variations.
One should be able to purchase a quality firearm anywhere from $300-$700, and of course it is like anything else you get what you pay for and you can also spend a far greater amount if you should so desire. My next post will cover rifles, bolt actions, semi-autos, and single shots. I hope you have learned something about the market for a firearm and will educate yourself on what you need to know to make a well informed decision when purchasing your new firearm.

Biding Our Time

As I begin to write this new post I wonder what all of the concerned and conservative people are doing out there. As the title of the post suggests; bide our time! Simply put, we should be ever vigilant but now is the time we should be preparing for what is to come. Now as our weather warms and flowers are blooming and everything is turning green, our gardens should be growing. All families should be starting a garden. If you have not had the opportunity growing up of raising your own garden and canning or preserving it, and raising your own beef and/or pork now is the time you should educate yourself on these topics. One of my favorite ways to preserve food is to use a "pressure cooker" and can my garden grown fresh produce. A dehydrator is also a good way to store food and great amounts of it in smaller containers. Which is a great way if you are concerned about space saving. Also one should make a list and consider what type of vegetables you should grow. Also one should consider the vitamin content or nutrients of your produce that it will provide adequate nutrition for you and your family. For those of you without much space and great protein source are chickens. You can raise several chickens without taking up too much space. Of course those of us who have the room and time and resources can raise our own beef and/or pork. Pigs require a bit more work as far as containment as they tend to be willey little critters. However they do not require as much space as do cattle. I recommend not only buying steers, but heifers (young female cows), and adult "mama" cows, so that in time you will have the ability to produce your own calves to sell or keep for future stock or simply to butcher and produce a large amount of beef for your family.
Again I remind you as you start gardening this season be sure to purchase non-hybrid seed so that you may save and replant from your own stock. Another small and easy thing to do is to plant a small orchard. You can have your own orchard with as little as a 16x24 section of your property. Be sure to check into the types of fruit trees to see if they require pollinating or self-pollinating. If you are so inclined one can even purchase your own bee hive and produce natures sugar for the cost of 2 hive boxes and the price of the bees.
Their are many things you can do that will enable you and your families ability to be self-sufficient. Good luck!

They will not listen!

With the passing of the government take over of health care, it is evident that we are no longer regarded as the "boss" of our elected officials. Thru all of 2009 during the debate of health care, town hall meetings, polls, etc., members of Congress (unless they are deaf, dumb & blind), have chosen to ignore the American people in their entirety. Knowingly aware of the majority of Americans being against this specific health care reform they have chosen to pass this legislation regardless. So, the question remains; "Will they listen to us now?", NO! When you talk and talk until you are blue in the face and the status "quo", remains unchanged; what are you left with? How many marches will it take? How many angry citizens at town hall meetings voicing their opinions, must they hear? Listen folks, they hear you but they aren't going to sway from their stance on this issue. They believe they have been educated and enlightened beyond our own common sense of what is good for us, or you as a person and it is their duty to save you from yourself. Things will be better if we would just get out of our own way. So then; wouldn't the phrase, "Taxation without representation," be true? If after listening to our opinions, polls, etc., and vote the opposite way, as if we've never said a word; it must be true. Remember that these people are the same people that waved signs, demonstrated, rioted, and even terrorized in some cases in the 1960's. They have thought about how to bring the government down. They have planned out, detailed operations on how to bring the system crashing down. So in regards with their history concerning debate, will they listen to you? The answer is simple, NO! So what will they listen to? What will they respond to? What will make them stop and say, "Maybe we should rethink this?" In the face of such disregard for the American peoples thoughts and concerns, only ONE thing will get their attention. That is BRUTE FORCE! We must come together behind one idea, one voice, one outcome. The time for talk is over! The Founding Fathers did not seek War, but they were left with little choice. When something is this important, the future of the country, having a country left to live in, having a country left to give our children, we must fight; we must win! History will look upon us as the generation that went to sleep and stood by as America was MURDERED! If we do nothing, if we stand idly by, if we refuse to act, we will see a world without an America. Do I want to fight our own countrymen? NO! I want to stand side by side along with my fellow Americans and remove these radicals from public office. If armed action is what our America cries out for, then we must be ready to act, not talk. The time for talk is over. The time for action is now! Stand with people of like mind, people ready to save this once great nation at all costs to that future generations may see an America standing firm, standing proud. An America that has reclaimed her former might. Not cut off at the knees, but standing strong and no longer apologizing to every minority, being politically correct, letting bleeding hearts rule our land.
Join together, organize, mobilize and stand strong in the face of tyranny!

Are You Aware?

I'm sure most of you are aware by now that as of Sunday's historical socialistic takeover of health care is complete. I would like to describe a few things you may not know about the new health care bill and what is being done to stop it.
I believe that 36 states are now currently or already positioning themselves to protect their residents with provisions that now currently reside in "States Powers" to refuse Nationalized Health Care. So, if you happen to live in these states there may be a glimmer of hope that still holds on in the face of clear Socialism. States are contesting that it's residents "do not" have to purchase nationalized health care on the pretext that the health care bill recently voted on in Congress, is just that; National and therefore citizens of those states have the right to refuse "National Health Care", should you chose to do so. Also there is another movement gaining considerable strength which is "The Freedom of Religion" argument. In that one must refuse Nationalized health care on the basis that it violates your religion. In the current form of the health care bill there are provisions for the "Church of Scientology" & the "Amish" so that they may be excluded from having to purchase a health care plan based on that violation.
So there are at least 2 rays of hope that still glimmer in our "dying democracy". If the Democrats can wrangle a way to slide Socialistic bills like health care down our throat, there are ways we can spit it back up.

Remember, Unite, Stand Firm and Protest until we have the numbers to change the wrong doing that Washington D.C. is so keen on doing.

WAR!!!!

The IRS is Watching You on Healthcare!

Health care and how it effects you are now finally starting to come to the surface. The CBO, (Congressional Budget Office) in its report has stated that the "new" health care bill will create some new jobs. However those new jobs are government jobs and not private sector jobs. Yes, government jobs, specifically at the IRS. The IRS will be put into a position to monitor your wages and the wages of the entire 300 million people in the country. They will be watching and monitoring your wages to see if you or your family are purchasing or paying for government health care. If you are suspected of not participating in health care they can and will audit you and potentially freeze a portion or all of your wages. If you are deemed guilty (proof or evidence no longer matter), they can fine you up to $2,550 per person found not to be participating in government health care. So, minus what you are made to pay for government run health care you will be made to pay fines in addition to what you will be already paying for a non-constitutional entitlement program. Your thoughts & ideas???

Are YOU Ready?

America the great! Thru many years of abuse and our heads in the sand the mistakes of the past are knocking at our door. Are you ready for the coming storm? Many think and many say the worst of the economic "slow down" is behind us. I do not feel that to be true. What do many of you think on the subject? I believe now is the time we must be ready. Ready for what you say? Anything! Because anything is possible. The citizens of this country known as the "Great Generation", are about to get some company. Wether or not history looks upon us as the "Second" Great Generation is up to us. I do not know what the best course of action for us as a nation is. I would like to hear your thoughts or opinions as to what that might be. Myself, I believe we should invest in ourselves and our families first. What I mean to say is; self reliance. The ability to provide for yourself and your family. The ability to grow and maintain your own food sources. Such as vegetables, beef, pork & fish. I would like to explore what you have to say. Maybe talk of old "Wise Tales" handed down thru generations. Whatever our individual opinions may be I think we can learn from one another and make this country great again!
