On Edge?

As I watch the news (and no not just Fox News), I can see or better yet, sense an edge on the everyday people when interviewed. It is as if everyone knows the country is in real trouble and that the potential for economic and social collapse is a real possibility. I mean not since the Civil War has there been such a threat that looms over our nation such as this. Since September 11, 2001 we have went from the worst attack on U.S. soil, to unity to electing a President of the United States with the middle name Hussein. Hijackers on the planes of 9/11 had that name; and now they want to build a Mosque on "Ground Zero"? Is everyone insane? I agree with the comic Dennis Miller when he stated on Bill Orelie's "The Factor" that America will be brought down by the amoeba of Political Correctness. A nation as great as ours falls to bleeding hearts. It is time to take a stand or we will quite possibly pass thru the annals of time as the fallen republic that was once America. I'm here to tell you the threat is real. There are people in our government that want nothing more than to see the fall of America, including our President. There appointed Czars and advisers in our current administration that would be arrested for a lot less of their policy's and view points. Why do so many turn a blind eye to it? Is is the mentality why worry about today what you can put off tomorrow? Folks if we don't get real leaders in our government, people who will fight for change and deliver, than maybe thru natural selection just as in nature we will be selected for extinction. The rule is; "Only the strong survive". Are we the strong, the lion or are we the wildebeest, the prey? You know on your computer or such devices their is a reset button so that if the system is corrupt you can simply shut it down and start over. Maybe we need to find our reset button and take our country back. Back a few years morally! Back when small communities banded together. When the focus of our lives centered around our neighbors and family. The country store not Wal-Mart was the focus of the community. You would see your family and neighbors at your local community church and Sundays was a day of rest, respecting God's rules not mans. A time when your neighbor needed help and you helped them. Not for "what a good boy am I", but because it was the right thing to do and down the road if you ever needed help they were there for you in return. A much simpler time, a much easier time. I don't have all the answers but I can see when something is broken. So instead of pretending everything is ok, let's stand together as neighbors, as Missourians, as Virginians, as Mainer's, as Californians as one country; America and work together to set our country back on the right path the founding fathers intended, as God intended.
