Well fellow Americans it is once again upon us. What is? I'm afraid sometimes that is how involved most people are in regards to elections. I watch television reporters from Jay Leno to Jesse Water's on the O'Reilly Factor ask young Americans who the current Vice President is. There answer "Umm, George Bush?". I've even heard people not have a clue about the current President. Not just his name but his politics, what he stands for; or better yet what he has accomplished. Regardless of your beliefs when "our", meaning ALL as in plural for "everyone", Founding Fathers decided upon a form of government to give to the people they lay in you hands the single most amount of power that resides in a Republic. Which by the way we are; a Republic. Have anyone of you heard the phrase "Violence never solves anything"? Do you agree or disagree? I wonder what the City Fathers of Hiroshima would say about force? What do you think they would say today, right now? Well, I can tell you the answer with the utmost certainty. NOTHING! Why you may ask? Because in 1945 then President Harry S. Truman gave the order for the first nuclear attack in the history of the world to be carried out over the city of Hiroshima. Unfortunately President Truman had to give a second and this time a final order to yet again use the deadly force of Nuclear War. The Japanese surrendered unconditionally shortly thereafter. In the city of Hiroshima there were a total of 47 hospital's and medical clinics before the United States detonated a nuclear bomb over that city. In the clearing, 48 to 72 hours later there were only a mere 3 hospital/clinics still standing. In the blink of an eye and quite literally even faster from the moment the bomb fell up until thousands died from radiation poisoning and cancer in the weeks and months that followed a total of 150,000 people were gone. Vanished, gone from the earth as if they never existed. Shadows of where a man had been standing burned by the extreme heat were burnt onto the concrete wall next to the sidewalk where the man was walking the instant the bomb hit. Footprints burnt into the asphalt of the streets where people had been standing. No remains, clothing, limbs, hairs, gold fillings, fibers were there because the energy of that bomb was so incredible and the heat the radiated outward from it left nothing in it's path. I've said all this to illustrate the extreme use of force. It was used to make the ever determined Japanese surrender and after the second bomb, it did just that. So then, back to voting. Is it simply marking an "X", or coloring in an oval with a #2 pencil, or punching a hole in a piece of paper? NO. Voting is force, and force is violence, the supreme authority from which all other authority is gained! So when we as a collective go out to the various places of voting and we cast that vote we are using force. Force sadly is the only thing politicians have come to fear through the years and respect when they are forced out of office. They understand it's absolution for they no longer fear the people. Over the years political parties from both sides have been corrupted, distorted, perverted, barely recognizable from the original intent. Our silence through those changes have allowed those in power to believe they are indeed the source of their power no matter how great or how limited that power may be. So then, we must use force! Force in voting. A peaceful protest with some signs scribbled with magic marker, everyone chanting in unison does no longer affect the leaders we have allowed to share OUR power. Even when protests have become violent and the angry mob causes property damage, and destruction of public property, our property; their simply pushed back by the police. Sure they make a few arrests here and there but a message that the protest was started for in the first place gets lost in the daily news somewhere between weather reports and "Plays of the Game" in sports. Spun by this newspaper, that blog, on that cable news network, it gets lost. The politician's that it was aimed at? They have no clue and set back & enjoy a $100 lunch at a D.C. "A" list restaurant, drive their $80,000.00 dollar "leased" SUV, entertain guests at their Penthouse home away from home many miles from their district and the people therein. I heard a statistic that between the two parties that to date both campaigns combined are nearing the amount of $1Billion dollars spent on advertising, Campaign HQ's lease, paper clips, buttons, bumper stickers, and so on. So if we are talking about money in the amounts of hundreds of millions and even a billion, I ask you: Are our Representative's & Senator's anything like the average everyday person that you and I know? NO! They have never had to worry about putting a new motor in their car because they can't afford a new one. They've never worried about if they can pay for the emergency hospital bill. We buy and provide them with the best insurance our great country can provide. Do they invest their money on chance or a hunch in the stock market with no prior knowledge or "background knowledge of certain companies new products that only a month ago asked Congress for a grant. Of which that information is not available to me and you so we take a chance when we put "our" money in the market for we have no prior knowledge of this company or that companies future plans because it was discussed behind closed doors, without reporters, without transcripts that make it public and we weren't invited to set in on the meeting. Low and behold our congressman does very well on a recent stock investment. I guess it was just good luck or intuition, right?
My point is folks that force while there may be many forms of it, we do not use it wisely and we do not use it enough. Senators in office before I was born and plans to run for another term. Term limits? Term limits actually brought before the House, voted on & passes; sent on to the Senate, voted on and passes and signed into law by the President? Let's not be naive, ok? It is up to us the voter regardless of your viewpoints, our differences are what makes America great and sometimes that means a different person holding that certain office for it's way past time when they are seeking their 7th term as Senator, or their 15th term as a Representative. It is time we use force! Remember force is violence, so lend the eye a terrible vision and let us rise up as one and use that force so that they may remember who their real boss is, and NO, its not the President. It's You & Me!

Doomsdayers?
Hello everyone! Well there is a television show on cable that shows or depicts people that are called "Doomsdayers". Wherein basically these people are preparing for "e.l.e's", Extinction Level Events where all mankind is faced with it's demise. This is where I'd like to add that while the television program is entertaining it is not entirely a good reflection upon rural America or small town people in general. If you happen to have extra batteries, flashlights, keroseen lamps, canned food, etc., that you are indeed a "doomsdayer". It is considered good general practice to keep such items and food staples in cases of extreme weather and/or power outages. With that being said one cannot deny that within pop culture that there is a certain sense of uneasiness. With motion pictures such as "I Am Legend", "Dawn of the Dead", "The Road", "The Book of Eli", and television series such as "The Walking Dead", which has garnered a very large audience that the world is indeed on edge. Weather it be the economy, war in the middle-east, trouble on the Korean pennisula. There are indeed many things that give so many of the American public cause for fear. History has taught us that weather it be illness, catastrphic weather changes, population overload, that the earth is an ever changing planet. The "swine flu" and the "West-Nile virus" are prime examples that mother nature can still deal mankind a real dose of trouble. Will these fears, illnesses, weather patterns, etc., change? Will mankind face a pandemic that would rival the "Plague"? Who knows? The one thing that you and I can know for sure is that we can be prepared for nothing when it comes down to it. Yeah, we can keep some extra supplies on hand to ease our mind, but when mother nature decides to change the course that mankind will follow; all we can do is buckle up and hold on.

Watch this hand???
Well, finally some good news in the war on terror. Osama Bin Laden has finally been located and killed. It is so much more important than most people realize. Killing or capturing him has done so much more than just take another terrorist out of the game, it has in a sense removed the "head" of the snake. Bin Laden has been the literal face of the terrorist world and now that he is dead, it has sent his underlings scurrying about without knowing what to do or when. Yes they want to lash out for their leaders death, but without a leader or a face to their organization they are left to ponder their next moves. However, while the media is buzzing about the death of Bin Laden, they are leaving the real news: our economy. Last time I checked we are still in 14 trillion dollars of debt and there is still no real plan from either side on about what to do about the budget. So while you're watching the hand moving the shell that the ball is in your not paying attention to the other hand. The hand that "placed" the ball under the shell. We have immigration, economy, war on terror, and gas prices just to name a few of the top. While I do not know which is the best one to tackle I would wager that our economy may the first place we should start.

The Government finally admits: We are in Trouble!
Well, well; it's about time that the government has finally admitted that we have a problem and if we don't act we will be in serious trouble. The only problem with that is we are already in serious trouble. The fact that the wound has not begun to bleed does not mean we don't have a cut. It simply means that the band-aid; for now is holding. It is any ones guess how much longer that it will hold. However, anyone can tell that it's time is growing shorter and shorter. Our way of life, our day to day lives hang in the balance. I do not believe that China would try to start a war as some would say. It is not in their best interest to do so. America remaining solvent and somewhat stable is in there best interest. If we collapse how can we pay the billions now owed to China? Serving their interest is all China is concerned about. Would they object if we were a proxy-U.S./China country? No, they wouldn't. If they could assume control over us without a military conflict they would be more than happy to sweep in and rescue us. In the long run they would use our resources; natural or personnel. Basically taking what they want when they need it. Is that the America we want to give our children? I would imagine that most of you would say no. All of us should say no, however with progressives and leftists they may consider America being a mere extension of "Mother" China, a pleasant alternative to actually running the country ourselves. A life of indentured servants may sound good to some, as for myself and a good many others I suspect that would not be satisfactory, to say the least. After the last fall elections the Congress is just now admitting that we have a spending problem. A spending problem? It's already spent, not that we are currently spending into oblivion. We are already into the great financial unknown. I consider it progress, however slow it may be; but at least the newly elected Congress is admitting there are problems. Whereas the Democrats claim that we do not need to spend but to invest in America. Isn't "investing" in America the same thing as "tarp"? We cannot, we must not continue to spend or we may as well light the match ourselves and watch Rome burn. Some say Rome isn't burning, it's burnt. We can make that statement true by allowing our government to remain out of control. President Obama seemed as though nothing was wrong and with just a little readjustment of spending procedures we can change our economic woes. I'm sorry Mr. President but you sir, "Are still out to lunch"! We must restructure our tax codes and simplify them, so that ALL pay taxes, not just the rich or affluent Americans. For too long the lower wage earners have not payed their share of taxes. While the top 10% of America foots the bill for the majority. People who have worked to get ahead or weather they were born into wealth, their wealth does not exist so the citizens at the bottom can play for free. If we have no "top 10%", there are no jobs for those on the lower end to work. If is as simple as the cliche "You can't bite the hand that feeds you". What happens when one does that? You quit being fed! Why would someone want to feed a dog that keeps biting it? They wouldn't. They would have the animal put down and find another animal that will respect them. Americans have gotten so turned around being "politically correct", and "identifying with minorities" that we have forgotten that the "Needs of the many outweigh the few, or the one". Instead we allow special interest groups to write our laws, minorities dictate what our government is concerned with, foreign interest outweigh our own. That is not what the founders wanted, it's not what we want. It's just what the "left" tells us we want. They say, "this is a tragedy", so-in-so was violated, this group of people needs more than what everyone else has. Bowing our knee to every wrong will only guarantee one thing. That we eventually bend the other knee and never rise again. We need leaders who will make tough decisions, decisions that they know will not make everyone happy but is best for everyone. America is being destroyed by cancer. The cancer of political correctness, bowing to every minority and every injustice. I'm sorry but the world is not a perfect place and you cannot legislate a perfect world. You cannot dictate someones thoughts by passing more laws. Now when I say "bowing to every minority", that does not mean that the Civil Rights movement should not have happened. What African-Americans (I'm not comfortable saying African-Americans. They are not from Africa, they are from America), was unspeakable. Hating someone, abusing them, killing them, denying them rights simply because they are a different color is unspeakable and we cannot justify our forefathers for their actions during that tumultuous time. Now when I say that I'm not comfortable calling them African-Americans, that in no way means I think it's OK to call them vulgar slang. However I am of Scotch/Irish/German descent but I do not call myself a Scottish, Irish, German, American, because I never lived in any of those countries and would know the first thing about living live there. So why would any minority put the country of their ancestry before -American? I fully understand if they have came here and are first generation Americans and this was not the land of their birth. Just as I have detoured onto race and the minefield of correct speech it is the exact point I am trying to make. We lose focus, we back stab one another, and amidst the chaos our country suffers.
Well until next time I eagerly await any comments from any and all who wish to discuss the problems that face our great country. I do however do not want any bigots or racists. There is no place for what you have to say on here. Go somewhere else please.. and remember please keep it civil. Agree to disagree!

Rallies & Promises; What is solved?
Well the infamous 8/28 rally was held and I believe it was a very positive step and maybe a way for many to recharge their exhausted batteries. Now that is all well and good but did attendee's come away with sollutions and idea's for what this once great country now faces? I have not heard of any as of yet, if they have surfaced. Mr. Beck is clearly our modern day Whitfield, but who is our modern day G. Washington? The fields have been plowed and planted, but who will harvest the bounty from this fertile ground? How many fields do we need before we harvest? It seems as though no one has the answers as to the many questions that face us.

Voting or Brute Force?
Well, here I set watching the news like many of you and scratch my head at what I see. A Mosque at "Ground Zero" and we as Americans are supposed to be ok with that? That's like have a sequel to a movie and the main character from the first movie is not the same actor in the second. It's like Hollywood thinks we won't notice or something. They share some facial attributes, hair color, size and maybe they sound the same, but they are clearly two different people. Washington is trying to avoid the sequel to "The Great Depression" but we can tell it's the same story. OK, maybe different actors; the clothes are different; the times are different, but it's the same movie. It's the reverse of the scenario I mentioned earlier. It's like recording a song that was recorded 25 years ago and changing the tempo and even maybe the genre. However; you know, "Hey, that's that old tune so-in-so sang when we were kids". That is exactly what America faces right now. It is the repeat of the Depression of the 1930's that was extended and worsened by President Roosevelt. Except today instead of being in debt millions, it is trillions! I heard an example from a prominent Pastor put like this: If you opened a business the day Jesus Christ was born and that business lost 1 million dollars everyday up to the present, you would need to add 700 years all the while losing 1 million dollars daily, that would add up to 1, yes 1 (one) trillion dollars. If I am not mistaken we are now in debt 14 trillion dollars. Madness!! With all that stated, will this fall's elections bring about the tools & ideas we will need as a country to get a handle on out of control spending and reasserting Americas place in the world? Will Washington "get it"? With all the issues facing America today and tomorrow our elected government has repeatedly went against the American peoples will. Is voting what they respect? Is term limits the key to restraining Senators from amassing too much power? In Americas past more than not, people in power or people with connections above the common man, the one and only thing that they all have responded to and understood is "Brute Force". I am not a "Founding Father", a General of the Army, a Senator or anyone that has ever been someone that should be in a place of power, but should more of the everyday common man or woman be the ones in power. To this point, people of the upper class, or the privileged elite have not exactly done a "bang-up job". I believe I am like many of you and would like to round them all up and put them all in a military tribunal, convict them of crimes against America, and sentence them to either Life in Prison or the Death Penalty. When I say, "round them all up" that means all leftist, Democrats, bleeding hearts, and either send them to the country of their choice or make this the last generation they corrupt. I like many of you believe in education, expanding you mind, new experiences, leaving a better country to the generation after me. I used to believe this country was in the mantra of "The needs of the many, outweigh the few, or the one. Not the other way around! Democrats, ultra leftist, bleeding hearts, believe exactly the opposite. Everyone has to conform to each little group, anyone different we have bow before them, the many have to walk on "eggshells" around the "few" or the "one". What's wrong with that? The list is too many and too long. There is a lot to be said about the beliefs of the Founding Fathers and traditions. If we were still following those beliefs and standards set out for us, maybe we would not be where we are today. Maybe Brute Force has been underrated? What do you think?

New Candidates same ole' results?
At this point in American politics we are faced with the incumbents or something new. Is it a new candidate with real ideas, viewpoints, ready to work attitude, real change; or is it the same ole' same ole'? I know with the emergence of the Tea Party and the different factions it has spawned we hear of new candidates and real change. Is it real change? Real change like now President Obama promised in his 2008 campaign? In many ways our country has reverted back to a system of government that our ancestors left England & Europe to escape. What system you ask? The Feudal system. The Feudal system of government consists of Lords and Vassals or Serfs. To break that down simply is the haves and the have nots'. Our country has reverted back to a time where we have a class of society what is called Aristocrats i.e.; Senators, Representatives, both at the Federal level and State level. The Middle Class or "town folk" that bares the cost or brunt of keeping the aristocrats living a lifestyle that they are accustom to. Then you have the poor, in which they do not contribute to society either by paying taxes or living on government provided welfare, which is of course right where the aristocracy wants them. Using England as an example, you had the King or Queen which oversaw all the Dukes, Lords, Counts, Knights, which in turn they oversaw the people that lived in small villages on the "Nobles" land and payed tribute or taxes to the Dukes and Lords for their abundant grace. Then their was the poor such as the Scottish or Irish people who merely existed to provide for their Nobles. If you ever notice when a Senator or Congressman is speaking at a press conference about a upcoming bill or an issue that resonates with the country they never speak of their own personal experience or that of their own families. They always read a letter or speak of a conversation from the campaign trail that they found to be so moving, so inspiring and now they've decided to champion this current cause. Do you know why they always speak of a letter from someone or a story from stranger met on the campaign trail? It is because they are wealthy, always have been and will continue to be. They are not faced with the trials that everyday Americans are faced with, such as health care because they have money. Money that enables them to pursue whatever form of treatment is needed. They do not know true hardship so they are faced to rely on us for a grasp of reality. By the people, For the people, Of the people is no longer true. Our representatives are no longer from us, the rank and file people of everyday life. They have been elevated to the status of Dukes and Lords and we are the Vassal's. We've set back and allowed them to vote pay raises, free trips, $3o,000 dollar a plate fundraisers. Does that sound like anyone you know? When has a Senator or Congressman ate "brown beans & cornbread" because that's all they had and not at a restaurant along the way on the campaign trail. So will electing people with new names and professing new viewpoints really be any different? When the current government passes bills into law that only 30%-40% of the people favor and reject the will of the American people at every turn, how do we stop them? Barack Obama was a different candidate. He is a African-American, young, a father, has not spent 40 years in elected office, professed change that you can believe in. What has that got us? More of the same. Disappointment and distrust and more importantly on the verge of Social and Economic Collapse. At the Town Hall meetings people voiced their opposition to the issues. Did it change their vote? NO! Regardless of America's collective view they vote against us at every turn. They believe thru their privileged upbringing, private schools, ivy league college, world travels, that they have been enlightened and it is their duty to save us from ourselves. When did we decide as a people, as a nation that people of privilege should decide what's best for us? I don't remember giving them that ability. Though I may not be rich, not well versed in multiple languages, traveled the world, educated at Harvard, I believe that I am capable of determining my own destiny, my own fate. The only thing people like this understand is brute force, naked aggression. That is what it took to open up the eyes of England's Royalty. Maybe you've heard of it, the Revolutionary War? Say we vote in these "new" candidates and it turns out they are the same. What will we do then? Amidst economic collapse, will new name candidates seem appealing? I think not. I'm not saying violence is the answer, but what is it going to take? I am at a loss as to what it is, except total revolution. I wonder if demanding the resignation of every member of "The White House", staff and the current President, every Senator, every Representative, and repealing such laws as Health Care, Finance Reform, etc. would bring about real change in our new government and stabilizing our Republic to insure people such as these are not so easily returned. I don't have all the answers let alone any single answer, but I do know something has to give or the "straw" will break the "camel's back". Maybe the time for talking is over. How good has talking been in deterring Iran from seeking nuclear weapons. How good was talking to Nazi's in ending WW II? Talking has it's time, however force has it's time as well. However I am in no way the person to decide that. I don't know if anyone really ever is. Basically we have to do something now to fix, no no... save this country or there will not be one left to save, I fear.
